I have really knobby knuckles. Normally this wouldn't be a big issue except that my hand modeling career is probably never going to take off. However, the issue comes in to play when I'd like to wear a ring. I have to get a certain size to fit over my big fat knuckle, and then it just twirls around the bottom part of my finger and drives me nuts. If it were actual, nice jewelry, I'd have it fixed a little. For example, I had little balls welded in to the bottom of the band on the diamond ring I briefly wore on my left hand. This seemed to work pretty well, but seems impractical for a "Buy one get one free" deal at Claire's (considering that the ring only costs about $2.50). The stretchy kind of rings work best, except that as I play with them (see previous Jewelry posts), I stretch them a little too much and break them.
So if anyone has any suggestions (aside from the ol' "wrap string around the bottom" routine), let me know.
