Do you ever wonder if you find yourself way more hilarious than other people do? I mean, I find myself to be quite entertaining, witty and clever most of the time (and know that this becomes increasingly difficult when I'm put in a group with all of you, because you are hysterical!)...but sometimes I don't get the appropriate response from my audience - leading me to believe I'm only funny inside my own head.
At this point, I could write an entire dissertation (and so could my therapist) about what's going on inside my head, but that's not the point.
I know I tend to use a lot of sarcasm to be funny and that can be irritating. I know this, because at the same time I'm cracking myself up, I'm also irritating the heck out of myself.
The inside of my head is very, very complicated.
Disclaimer: This is supposed to be funny...not serious. If it came across seriously, then I need to work on my bits even more than I thought. I've considered adding a similar "this is supposed to be funny" disclaimer on all future posts, but that defeats the purpose of knowing that I've made you chuckle.

I chuckled before you put the disclaimer. And I chuckled at that too. I think you're hillarious.
And I do think I'm way more funny than I actually am.
I'm the kind of person that rarely thinks they're funny, so when I do say something funny I usually have to follow it up with,"Hey, that was a good one," or "Did you get it?" which I know just makes it so much more un-funny. I need to work on that aspect in my life. But really, when I'm around all of you or my family, I usually am the least-funny one and I'm okay with that. You guys keep me going strong!
Katie - you're funnier than you think you are.
I agree with Laura. Katie's hilarious.
Laura, your ARE funny!
I wouldn't hang out with you if you weren't (not to be mean, but it's true).
(And that goes for you, too, Katie.)
