Egg on My Face

Or should we say Cheese in My Teeth. I know, that sounds weird. Let me explain...

I've been eating this cottage cheese every morning that has that active culture stuff in it. The curds are a little different texture than other curds. They are...well, resilient. They tend to hang around and not just smush away like other ones do.

So today, I ate my little container, drank some water, and went about my morning. About an hour later, I went to the restroom and happened to look at myself in the mirror (which I normally try to avoid at all costs). To my horror, there were several tiny cottage cheese curds stuck in my teeth!! Normally, you expect to hear that about things like spinach, poppy seeds, cilantro, raspberry seeds, etc. But have you ever heard about getting cottage cheese stuck in your teeth?

And the worst part...I had just been in an hour long meeting with my boss and another 10-15 minute long conversation with another co-worker! How embarrassing!!

Maybe cause they were white, they blended in? Here's to hoping. I went an entire day with two totally different earrings and didn't realize until the chiropractor took them out to adjust my neck and handed them to me. One was a pink rectangular earring. The other was a dangly one with two greenish brown balls on it. Not sure how that happened, but pretty sure no one at work loves me.

You must have been preoccupied the morning you got dressed! It's not like the earrings were even similar!

Trust me, the curds did not blend in because they were white. They looked all chunky and gross like I hadn't brushed my teeth in weeks. Very charming, I know.

Once, I went to work with a light brown shoe and a black shoe. They were both the same still, and I was getting dressed in a hurry.

Sadly, it was the day I was helping with a F.A. presentation (which was at 3 different times).

So, before I began each one, I had to explain to parents and students, that, yes, my shoes don't match. And, no, it does not reflect the education of the university. Sigh.

I never do anything embarrassing, so I have nothing to say on that topic....(I wish)...on another note, I just looked at the slide show of Katie's birthday weekend and the pictures of sunset on the beach literally made my heart hurt with the beauty. I was tempted to pack a duffle and catch the next flight. I'm told sunsets here are beautiful too...I've never seen one because I'm always bathing kids, etc. at that time of night. Seeing a sunset should definitely be a goal for me this year!
