I finally got over my fear of not knowing how to use the treadmills at my apartment's gym. They're actually really cool treadmills - each one has its own little TV that you can just plug your headphones right in to. I usually get really bored on treadmills, but being able to watch TV helps the time go by. I thought it was really funny the other day as I was working out and watching Paula Deen make these disgustingly yummy looking brownies on the Food Network. Irony? Probably.
The irony didn't stop there however. I looked over at the treadmill next to mine and noticed a bunch of chip crumbs all over it. Someone was actually working out and eating chips at the same time! I've GOT to meet this person!! It's not that clear, but if you don't believe me...here's a picture:

That definately sounds like my kind of person. I'd do it--minus the treadmill...and I dont really eat chips, so maybe it could be brownies instead...mmmm...
I'm super jealous that your treadmills have their own tv. We have tvs at my gym but they're always tuned to the news with the sound down and the sub-titles on. But I'm pretty sure a slightly retarded chimp is typing them because they have the worst mistakes. It's not worth it to watch.
I'm proud of you for getting over your fears and getting on the treadmill.
I'm just so glad that you are posting again. Have you gotten my really late card yet? I promise, I bought new stamps and started our pen palness again!
That is hilarious!
That is so funny. I must admit, I think about what I'm going to eat when I get finished working out. Good for you--such a good example to me, conquoring fears.
