I recently saw this recipe in the Food Network magazine and noted that I wanted to try it someday. I made something similar when I was doing my little recipe quest a couple of years ago, but this one was a little different.
Last night I decided to actually try it. It wasn't difficult, but it was definitely time consuming. I don't get too intimidated by difficult recipes, but there's always that worry that you spend a lot of time on something and it doesn't look how it's suppose to, or worse, that it doesn't taste good.
This one did not disappoint on either front. Here's some pictures of the process:

Super impressive, Laura! I always want to try big scary recipes, but usually flake out last minute, or cut my finger while chopping and dancing at the same time. Way to go!
