Seedless?

I'm eating some watermelon right now. It's one of those little baby seedless ones. The thing that I'm noticing though is that there are an awful lot of seeds. And not just the little barely there white ones. There are many of these almost black black ones. What's the deal with that? Aren't there some sort of USDA guidelines on what "seedless" means? If they can regulate what "low fat", "low carb" and "lite" mean, then "seedless" needs to be on the list.

Instead, maybe these watermelons should be something like "seed-lite" or "reduced seed"!

Yep, I've had that happen to me recently. I know I bought a seedless watermelon. (seriously, I think the only ones with seeds are sold in the hispanic stores) And sure enough, I had to de-seed it myself. A true shame.
