On Sunday, Mike and I returned from visiting my brother's family in Texas. It was a crazy trip, for sure, but nice to see the kids and spend time with the family. I've probably shared some stories about how hilarious my niece is. She'll be turning 4 in January and is just the cutest thing (most of the time)!
Here are a few highlights and funny things she said:
On our first night there, my mom, Mike and I were in her room looking at her toys and someone noticed that the wooden leg on a little table in her room was cracked almost all the way through. We asked her if she knew how that happened and her reply was, "Cracky wacky - that's how they say it in China!" What? What on earth is that supposed to mean?
Then she proceeded to tell us how her pillow broke the table. Oh sure, because a 2 ounce pillow can break a table.
Later, my brother asked her, "Reagan, were you standing on the table - is that how it broke?" Knowing she was about to get busted because she'd already been warned about standing on the furniture, she replied, "No, I wasn't standing on it. My foot was standing on it." OK - good cover there!
I wish I had a video camera going during all of this. Anyway, I hope all of you have a cracky wacky new year!

clever girl. She'll go far in life. I'm glad you had a fun time with your family.
And--it was so good to see you at the 'elegant ladies of leisure breakfast brunch'
