Cake For Lunch

My mom and I went to a Bridal Fair at the Queen Mary yesterday. Basically it was at least a thousand brides, mothers, bridesmaids, etc. roaming around a huge exhibit area looking at hundreds of wedding-related vendors. The vendors included photographers, DJs, florists, invitations, decorators, event designers, even a plastic surgeon with a very inappropriate give-away item! What I left off that list was, of course, the best set of vendors…the bakeries…with all of their glorious samples! I believe we ended up eating 4 pieces of cake and a couple of chocolate truffles. For lunch. One of the many trials of planning a wedding!!
